Those that don't annoy Venali, or get his name and room number from a former client. He is less likely to work with people that he feels are untrustworthy, no matter the need. Appearances can be deceiving, so he may test potential clients to avoid magical mishaps.
About prosthetics
This is the only craft Venali will ever advertise, though he seldom does so. He uses a combination of metal and crystal to build the limb, then his own magic to fuel it. Nearly all clients regain sensation in the replaced limb, and few report increased sensation. Some claim it's a gained sensitivity to magic, but only Venali would know. It is the same magic he uses on a daily basis, and uses for his own limb.
The prosthetics are capable of being removed, one only need flick a switch to shut the magic circuit off. The lower portion, or portions, will then fall free. He included a crystal cap for both ends, so if one chooses to sleep with the limb off, it will not effect the crystals. It is recommended that one stores them with the caps on to avoid damage. Even if only off for a few minutes.
About internal replacements
Made from a sliver of the clients life force, then blended into what the elf calls 'living metal', it works like the old organ. Some say that the new organs 'flutter' or 'buzz'. Venali chalks this up to foreign matter in the body, and the body adjusting, and magic when one is not used to feeling it. Very rarely has someones body rejected an implant, more often the client requests something be done about the sensations. They either go missing before he can fix them, or end their lives. But he will say with confidence, it has only happened in twenty cases.
Information on his magic
Venali possesses a potent raw energy, most of which he cannot tap into. If possible he uses it, but it often warps his sense of touch. He has troubles with texture and others touching him, the latter due to his magic picking up internal thoughts of who he touches. When the elf finds his magic lacking, he is more willing to shake hands or what not.
Those that are capable of sensing magic may feel his magic as a sort of aura about him. The thickness of this aura directly relates to how stressed he seems. And how visibly tense the elf looks.
About Magical Intervention
If one can find him in time, Venali may be able to remove plagues on the spirit. Dark creatures that prey on souls and magic. Venali can sense them, and remove them from clients. It is very easy to get him to agree to this line of work despite the fee. It is the only thing he will haggle on, his other crafts are firm prices. But if he is allowed to keep the spirit after, Venali may even remove them for free.
Collecting, and keeping dangerous magical goods.
It is unknown why, or how, Venali keeps these highly dangerous goods. All that anyone knows is that, if brought dark and evil artifacts, the elf will pay top dollar to own them. It is a bit of a gamble, he will reject some higher powered artifacts, but take others with nearly nonexistent power. One can only assume that he is looking for a specific magic.
